In the summer of 1980, while
strolling along the Boardwalk of Ocean City, Maryland, enjoying
the sights and smells of the ocean, brothers David and Fran DiFerdinando
imagined a business that they couldn't resist. Together, they
founded Boardwalk Fries® - today the only major French fry brand in
the United States.
Over the past decades, Boardwalk Fries® has expanded with locations
now in major malls, arenas and stadiums, amusement parks,
universities, and at special local events.
While Boardwalk Fries®, located in many malls, continues with the
original concept of fresh cut fries, now packaged pre-cooked frozen
Boardwalk Fries® have been successfully introduced with overwhelming
acclaim. The added ease of preparation, cooking and serving time
allow pre-cooked frozen Boardwalk Fries® to be added to existing
menu items as a branded food item. By co-branding with other great
brand names, or single location operators, from stand-alones, carts,
kiosks and inlines and elsewhere, unlimited opportunities to offer
Boardwalk Fries® are available to all types of food service vendors. |
